ILLINOIS AIRPORT MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATION
2008 CONFERENCE

October 15-16, 2008
at

Our airport and maintenance staff are proud to host the 2008 Illinois Airport Maintenance Association's fall conference. This inexpensive 2-day event allows airport maintenance professionals to come together and learn from each other. Our preliminary plan is for a full day-and-a-half of seminars, demonstrations, vendor exhibits, and camaraderie. If you have suggestions for the agenda, please let us know. We are particularly interested in contacting vendors you deal with who might be willing to show off their products or equipment or who might make an interesting speaker. If you have something new, unique, or interesting your maintenance team would want to present, we'd like to hear about that, too.

This won't be a stodgy sit-down-in-a-hotel-ballroom experience -- the event will take place in our airport maintenance bays, in our conference room, and out on the field. We expect this to be a casual "working" conference where everyone can test-drive tools and equipment or see them in action and hear about the latest innovation in airfield maintenance.

Our official conference hotel is the Casino Queen Hotel, conveniently located only 5 miles from the Airport Administration Building and with a breathtaking view of the Gateway Arch Riverfront. Click here for hotel information and reservation details.

More details will be coming your way in the future.

Please share your ideas with us now by e-mailing our maintenance manager, Bobby Toenjes, at mx@cps.aero or our airport director, Bob McDaniel, at director@cps.aero, or give either of us a call at 618-337-6060.

Mark your calendars now -- I hope you can join us.
